We are Blessed

I know that I haven't posted much lately, and there's not really much of an excuse, but I did want to give a brief update of our life in the past few months. Tyler just got a new job, and we are so excited! He first heard of this company last semester when he was in his Entrepreneurial Leadership class, which by the way was a class set apart for a select few students who were in the top of their programs, and with Ty being Phi Kappa Phi, he was invited to attend. It was an amazing class where he was able to have lunch and meet with the CEO's of several companies. After one of his classes, we went to the wedding of one of our cousins when he told me, "I know what company I'm going to work for..." which happens to be Clearlink, a marketing company. This company is AMAZING and we are so excited, and blessed that he was able to get a job with them! We can't wait for him to start! :)
Also, we are expecting our first little one to join our household at the end of August! We definitely did not think that we would get pregnant so quickly (and I mean like the day after going off birth control quickly), but that is something that we cannot complain about! We can't wait to find out what our little wiggle-worm is, and can't wait for all the adventures we have in store! Unfortunately, because it did come so quickly...we will no longer be able to go on our cruise that we have had booked for almost 2 years, because coincidentally, it happens to be the same week as our due date. Funny how timing is everything :) But we are not too bent out of shape because we can't wait to see our little one! :) Hopefully at our next doctor's visit we will be able to determine what our little peanut is! And trust me....we can't wait!!!! :)

Our First House!!!

We finally closed on our first house on Monday! After six weeks from our original closing date, and after several hours on the phone with the mortgage company, we are finally closed!!! Look how sinking cute it is! I mean honestly! We are so excited to start moving in and to begin our lives together there! We have honestly been so blessed and are so grateful for the chance we have to buy an amazing house especially in this economy! Once I can get moved in, and get all my cute decorations up, I will post mote pictures of the inside, but for now, look how cute the outside is even!

Our wonderful realtor, after so much work, brought us over a fantastic, and might I say delicious gift basket from Kneaders bakery last night! He and his cute wife, who I used to work with stopped by to visit and bring us this wonderful surprise! Nancy knows how much I love Halloween, which by the way will definitely be the first thing I decorate for, and so the basket was Halloween themed! They are so sweet! If anyone is looking for a realtor, Vince Landvatter is fantastic!

We are so excited to have been so blessed and wanted to share our excitement with you! It has been a long fought war with Envoy mortgage, who I definitely wouldn't recommend if you're looking to buy, but we are so ecstatic to finally own a home! More pictures to come! Yay for being a homeowner!!!!

The Lion King

Last year for our anniversary we went to see The Lion King in Vegas, and absolutely LOVED it! So when we heard it was coming to Utah, we immediately jumped on the opportunity and bought tickets. At the Mandalay Bay in Vegas, we were clear in the back, so we decided to splurge and buy tickets that were 'in the action'...where you could 'smell the sweat'...but really where you could see the immaculate costumes and witness the awesomeness of the play! :) We have been waiting for over a year to see The Lion King, and last night, we had the opportunity to go! Here are our tickets...I know they're sideways, but you get the idea!
Before the play we went across the street to the Olive Garden, where we had our wedding luncheon...so many memories, for dinner.

I know you can't really see us, but we had to be sneaky...
I absolutely LOVE the Lion King! I always have, and always will! The play was absolutely amazing, and definitely exceeded my expectations again! :) I am sad it's over, but I am definitely glad that we were able to go! Hakuna-Matata! :)

Carrie Underwood

We went to Stadium of Fire on Saturday and saw Carrie Underwood...she is absolutely amazing! We absolutely love her! She is just as cute in real life and has such an amazing voice! I know you are all jealous...so I just had to rub it in...Carrie, you are amazing! :) The weather was perfect, the slight breeze blew away from us, so we didn't get any ashes in our face from the fantastic firework show! Happy belated 4th to everyone! :)

Two Years of Eternal Bliss!

Isn't it crazy how fast time flies when you're having fun? I have been married to the most amazing man for two years today, and I still feel like we are 'newly-wed' in love! I can't imagine my life without him!
We have seriously lived it up in my opinion!! When I think of all the places we've been, I can't even begin to imagine how much fun the future is going to be! We have been to Disney World twice (once for our honey-moon), Hawaii, Disneyland, Vegas, St. George a couple of times, Park City a few times, Wolf-Creek several times, and of course, our short little excursions around town millions of times! Anyways, not only have we vacationed...a ton, we have come to love each other more and more each day! Not to get all mushy, but I'm sure you all know what I mean!
So for what it's worth...we have been married for two years, and are so excited for the rest of eternity! And for all you married women out there, make sure you tell your husband's how much you love them, because I love my hubby more than anything in this whole world! :) Happy Anniversary Love!
